Foundation Farms is dedicated to the creation of the ultimate coloured Sport Horse. Raising appaloosas for seven years before this venture, we have learned a lot and came to love the breed's temperment, personality and versitality. We were originally trying to breed a larger, more sporty appaloosas and became discouraged in the lack of size we were trying to produce. It became difficult to find breeding animals that were over 16.2 hands. We started looking into warmblood crosses and fell in love. We have been addicted ever since. Our goal is to eventually be producing consistantly, beautiful, correct, big and coloured horses that would excell in english disciplines such as dressage, show jumping and eventing at top levels.

Located in Central Alberta, Canada. Just one hour north-west of Red Deer, in the small, friendly, international town of Rimbey. Our farm is located straight west of town 12.5 miles on Hwy #53. There we share 60 acres of lush pasture with my mother and father and all our wonderful horses. Come by and have a look, we always have horses for sale and love to give tours if you are interested in seeing what we are trying to produce. I guarrantee, you won't be disaponited.
